These orders may take seven business days to process. The Division of Vital Records can verify the facts of a marriage that has taken place from 1962 through the current index date available. Certified copies are only available at the county clerk in the county where the marriage occurred ( List of County Clerks). Marriage records are not kept by the Illinois Department of Public Health, Division of Vital Records.
